This Oz Photo Workshop is great for anyone who loves getting into the Australian bush and capturing the best images it has to offer. You will have the opportunity to visit and photograph pristine landscapes, RAMSAR wetlands and Australian wildlife that many
Australians are yet to see first hand.

Whether you’re a beginner, an experienced photographer or simply someone who appreciates what our great country has to offer, you’ll enjoy 6 days exploring the spectacular Top End of Australia, culminating with a private charter flight to return you home to Darwin.

When you want the best, work with the best!

It is for this reason I have partnered up with the team from Venture North, who know Australia’s ‘Top End’ like the back of their hand. Gold medal winners of the 2015 Australian Tourism Awards, Venture North has a private safari-style camp setup on the Cobourg Peninsula that will provide you with a ‘glamping experience’ having most of the mod-cons, along with excellent dining experiences.

Throughout our trip, transport will be via comfortable 4WDs, with ample opportunities to shoot during our travel times. Working with a small group ensures everyone gets plenty of 1 on 1 assistance and tuition at each shoot location. This will be as little or as much as you like so every participant gets exactly what they want from Australia’s Top End photography
workshop and is able to improve their photography, at their own level.

Throughout our 6 days some of the things you will experience will be a guided cruise along Corroboree Billabong, where you can photograph birdlife, plants and saltwater crocodiles, sprawling landscapes viewed from atop of Ubirr and Injalak Hill, unique indigenous rock painting; explained by an Aboriginal guide, not to mention stunning wetlands and cruising through the Northern Territory’s largest Marine Park by boat.

Of course there will be opportunities for some down-time, or a post-processing session if anyone is interested. The camp at Cobourg is a wonderful place for a sundowner or two, prior to a sumptuous dinner. Our time together will culminate with a private charter flight back to Darwin where we will get a different perspective again of the Peninsula and nearby Tiwi Island coastlines.
