Capturing life’s quintessential
My name is Alan Barker and I have the pleasure in running all of the Oz Photo Workshops. As a professional photographer, I have also had the pleasure in working with and co-leading workshops with other professional photographers from both the United States and New Zealand; catering to a wide range of clientele. I believe that photography is a source of personal inspiration and expression, where each image crafted holds an individual message for the creator and viewer alike. I love to photograph landscapes and wildlife and have a great enthusiasm for leading photography workshops, which allow me to teach the intricacies of photography to other enthusiastic photographers.
Do I have to be a great photographer to enjoy a workshop?
Certainly not! As a workshop leader I believe my role is to help each individual photographer find and capture their vision, whilst fine tuning or learning new skills along the way. With over thirty years education experience working with the young, ‘not so young’ and young at heart, I endeavour to cater for people of all needs and experience.
If you have the wish to learn; I have the desire to teach.
